At the beginning of the 2026 season, I had the opportunity to design a mural for the Rapids supporter group. Inspired by Colorado’s landscape and visual culture, the mural incorporates familiar elements like the iconic “Welcome to Colorado” sign, state park signage, and the natural scenery that defines the state.

I also incorporated a series of Easter eggs throughout the mural, including references to the Rapids’ 2026 and 2027 jersey colors and a C38 member fishing within the landscape. To make the mural more compelling and participatory, I designed an interactive feature that allows visitors to add stickers to the van, giving supporters a chance to leave their own mark on the artwork.
